A rede planialtimétrica é o conjunto de marcos, os quais materializam o ponto de coordenadas conhecidas (latitude, longitude e altitude elipsoidal). A rede geodésica de alta precisão no estado do Paraná conta com 52 (cinquenta e dois) marcos geodésicos, implantados em 1996 e em 2007 por meio de convênio entre SEMA, IBGE e prefeituras. É de competência do IBGE divulgar as informações dessa rede que compõe a rede nacional planialtimétrica. </idAbs>
